Brother DCP-9015CDW A4 Multifunction Colour Laser Printer – Great all in one Laser Printer

This is an excellent printer. The print quality is great, it prints 2 sided automatically and easy to connect. I am pleased that i bought this printer. There are a few down sides but nothing that would force me to send this back. – the foot print of the printer is rather large and the whole thing is very heavy. – the fan (cooling system) is fairly noisy and takes about 1. 5 minutes to switch off after printing. – the scanner is good but it’s really awkward to scan a book, the scan bed is larger than a4 but not big enough for a3. – the quality of printing from airprint on an ios device is really poor.

Brilliant product and great service. The colour quality is good and the bonus of double sided printing is great. Be aware though the printer is very heavy.

Quite large but very well made and works brilliantly – should have swopped from inkjet ages ago.

  • Excellent home business printer – crucially: toner can be re-filled!
  • A sound investment
  • market for a colour laser printer then I highly recommend this unit

Amazing piece of equipment for our small business. Amazing piece of equipment for our small business. Love the facts it prints both sides and the colour is high quality too. Can’t rate brother enough to be honest, especially at this price.

It is a fair size but nothing too drastic. Really easy to setup (wifi only on this model) windows 10 found it without having to install anything once it was connected to the network. Android phone (required a brother plugin off the play store) and the wife’s iphone have no problem printing to it. At £150 and £35 for a full set of copy toners this is perfect.

Brilliant, what a relief not having to try and get the inkjet working again and again.

No problems setting up the wireless connection with 2 laptops, 1 tablet and 1 ipad. Very quiet, clear and sharp printing both colour and b & w. Someone else wrote in a review that it’s a ‘big beast’.And it is, but well worth it. Great machine at a reasonable price, definitely recommend.

This printer is easy in setup and preparation and it has a user-friendly menu. Black and white print quality is excellent, colour print is vivid and sharp in basic tones but could be better with midtones. Office papers and graphs are well-looking while photos has lack of clarity. Perfect if you have to print information leaflets or simple graphs.

    1. A bit of a monster in my office but it does everything well. I’ve had the printer for 3 months and it’s done quite a lot of work. I replaced a failing inject and ancient laser and it just does everything (including copying and scanning) very well.

  3. Does what it says on the tin. This is my second brother printer and i always pleased with the performance of brother laser printers, one word of warning this printer is very heavy and my small table could not take the weight of the printer and now i have to place the printer on the floor. Brother printer installed without a problem. But i installed the printer on my windows 7 machine ,so i cannot speak for windows 10. The software is very helpful because it allow you to review any document that you scan or want to print, i am very pleased with the performance of this brother printer and it slays most of the inkjet printers and i will never go back to inkjets. The brother printer is fast and trouble free i was up and running within half an hour of installing the software. Cons- the printer is very heavy and will need a strong computer or end table so be warned.

This printer was bought for a church office to replace a solid ink printer that was horrendously expensive to run due to the cost of refills. So far it is working well, meeting our needs. May not stick with the genuine toner cartridges, though, as these are pricey. Double sided printing is a little slow, but efficient. Printer drivers downloaded successfully. It’s a neat size compared to our old one.

    1. Solid printer built like a brick s***house. After a lot of looking around and comparing printers i went for this one. I have managed for years with inkjet printers but finally got fed up with ink drying up, not printing properly, expensive refills or trying myself to fill up old cartridges. This printer is absolutely brilliant, it’s as solid as a tank and reminds me of computer hardware built in the earlier days when it used to be really expensive. The quality of the print is fantastic, there are many print settings, initially i was disappointed with the print quality but realised later there was a setting on the printer called toner save which was on causing the print to come out with less clarity. I buy compatible refills from amazon and these work brilliantly, i would say not worth buying the original brother refills due to price. If you want a good printer – buy this one.

  8. Excellent home business printer – crucially: toner can be re-filled. Works brilliantly, decided at last to never mess about with ink jets again. Nothing to add beyond other reviews which tell you what it does. We print from a pc by cable, wireless from iphones and ipads, and also wirelessly from windows laptops – no problems. Do your research before buying consumables, rather than cheaply re-filled recycled cartridges, or low quality foreign copies that don’t last as long so are false economies – get on the internet for very good consumer advice: the ‘starter’ toner cartridges provided can have ‘reset wheels’ added which is a simple job as long as you have nimble fingers and can use a screwdriver. This then means they can be put back in and will carry-on for another few hundred pages, honestly. Brother equipment is good in this regard as they don’t use small electronic chips on their cartridges. There is a bit of a consumer rip-off going on by many of the major printer manufacturer’s whom, as we all suspect – are making a killing on consumables. After adding reset wheels, the time will come when you do need to add more toner, it is possible to do so by obtaining pots of toner that can be poured-into the cartridges (melt a hole, pour-in, plug hole with rubber bung, reset the wheel again, bob’s your uncle, saved yourself a couple of hundred pounds) note: this is top quality toner going into original cartridges, rather than dubious stuff from the far east. As far as i can see, unless you damage the toner cartridges in this process you won’t need to buy any replacements for a very long time unless you’re a very heavy printer user, and most people don’t purchase a printer like this and expect to print half a million pages a monththere’s a web-site you can find with all you need to do this plus instructions, i’m not connected in any way just a customer, search for ‘diy brother laser you refill toner’ or something like that.
