Brother HL-2135W Mono Laser Wireless Printer – Never going back to inkjet!

This is my second brother laser printer (the first lasted about 7 years). Both usb and wireless connectivity are easy to set up, brother provide windows and linux drivers and the printouts are of a reasonable quality. Unfortunately, the toner that came with the printer didn’t last very long. Having said that, i bought a third party replacement toner at only £6 and i’ve been using it for months. This printer also supports manual duplex but if you expect to be using this feature quite often, i would recommend going for a printer with automatic duplex.

Excellent printer, very easy to set up and use. Excellent printer, very easy to set up and use. Don’t know how long the toner will last as yet, so will have to see how economical this printer is to use.

Still going well a year later.

Good printer but sent the spanish version. The actual printer is good, does exactly what it says it does and easy to set up. However, the version i was sent was the spanish version – spanish instructions and spanish mains plug. I called amazon and they refunded me enough to cover buying an english mains cable, but shame it happened in the first place.

The best printer i ever bought. Over the years i have had many printers but this was my first laser printer and i will never look back. The coast i have saved and believe me i found bargain inks is amazing.

Amazing printer, have fiddled about with inkjets over the. Amazing printer, have fiddled about with inkjets over the last few years and they’ve cost me a fortune and generally don’t last very long, this little workhorse is extremely cheap to run, relatively painless to get on the wireless network, would definitely recommend.

    I have been using this printer for over a year and i’m very happy with it. I love the fact that it’s wireless. Print quality is very good and seed is ok too. It takes a little while for the printer to warm up after turning the power on, but it’s not too long so i don’t mind it too much.

      1. Great quality print; i have noticed slight paper curling at top edge (in spite of using quality ‘own brand’ paper specially for laser printers) but this is not sufficient to deduct a star. Excellent customer service from seller and manufacturer to enable me to register the product for 1 year limited warranty.

    1. Great price, even better printer. Compact and quality printer that i have been using for two years with the same toner in, i brought a spare as the light is flashing to replace it but that was months ago so extremely cheap to run with great results. Bear in mind that this does not print in colour though, although i am happy with that.

I print very rarely, so when ever i did try the ink of the inkjet printers had dried out and would cost me another £20 for ink cartridges. A laser printer does not dry out, each refill does around 15,000 a4 pages, so even in it’s first year it has paid for itself in reduced costs.
