CANON 5252B012 mono laser MFP i-SENSYS MF3010 – exactly the printer i wanted

Printer was easy to set up and and carries out printing and copying very efficiently.

Only just started to use it,so far it seems ok ,time will tell.

A few reviewers have said this is a very noisy machine, i can only assume that they use it for long periods of time which it was not designed for. I find it no noisier than my ink jet printer. When on standby it just sits quietly with a little green light blinking to show it is ready and alert. When required to work it does so instantly with a polite clunk and a whoosh and your printed page is delivered in seconds. The only down side was that i found it very difficult to locate a spare cartridge, very few net sites stock it. For infomation it is the lbp6000 series cartridge number 725. Cost £48, which is par for the course with all printers these days i. Sell printer cheap and arm & leg for the ink.

And have found it to be reliable and provides good print clarity. I have had this for some time now and have found it to be reliable and provides good print clarity. The cartridge has lasted a fair time so i am pleased to say i would buy another canon laser printer. Delivery quick and packaging good.

Easy to install, is a bit noisy when printing engine starts. Main complaint is than the control bar the buttons are very hard to read on the black background either they should be illuminated or the titles picked out in white so that they can be easily read, a case of poor user design. Apart from this reasonably good value for money so far.

Would have chosen 5 stars if the software-disk had been up to date (install-function not supporting windows 7 x64)minor problem, though, proper software was quickly localised on canons website.

Printer was easy to set up and and carries out printing and copying very efficiently.

    Exactly the printer i wanted. This printer is great for a low usage home laser printer that just knocks out black and white prints for every day use. Its square shape means its easy to put on shelves and keep other objects around it when its not in use.

    Win7 64-bit defenitly compatible. Well after reading most of the reviews for this printer i decided to buy one which i did. All god so far but i must say that i read the reviews saying about the issues on installation on win7 64-bit and i can say that at first i encounter the same problem. My win7 wouldn’t recognise the printer no mater what i have tryied.So i contacted canon’s help support and they told me a few things to do, but guess what the problem wasn’t the driver or the printer or the win7 64-bit it was the usb extension lead. Because i use the printer a little farder from the pc i needed an usb extension to reach to the printer so i went to carboots on sunday and i found one but surprise surprise its no good as each time i connect the printer via the usb extension the pc is saying unknown device, but as soon as i plug the printer without it windows recognise it straight away. So i can simply say that yes it’s a good printer which works with win7 64-bit too.Recommended and i hope that this review help other deciding to buy this printer which i believe is a very good deal for anyoane who need a printer for every now and then as i had before an inkjet one but the ink was very expensive and if left unused the ink was drying off very quiq so not a good deal at all.

At a good price tooit has a small footprint so it can be used on the desk but bear in mind the front panel drops down to take the paper feed. You can only close the front panel when all the paper is removed. Prints appear from the opening below the control panel. Copying and scanning is done on the glass platen under the top cover. The only means of connection to your computer is via usb but amazingly a cable is not supplied with the printer. 0 high-speed a to b printer cable. Everything about this machine is fast and it is silent when not working. Copying – very easy and amazingly fast. I changed the default setting from speed priority to resolution priority and this improved the print quality from ok to very good. Printing – the windows printer driver has every conceivable option to tweak things to suit your needs.

    I brought this printer for my girlfriends father, but after testing it at home to see if it was suitable for him, i decided i would get one for myself. So promptly ordered anothera great little device that runs at a super quick rate. Easy to use and easy to set up. Plus it looks great on my desktop and doesn’t take up much room at all. A great buy and i would recommend it to anyone how needs a printer at home and can cope without colour output. I have had this printer for a few months now and it still has lots of toner left, a far better option for me than my old ink printer.
