Canon PIXMA MG 5750 All-in-One Wi-Fi Printer – Great printer. So easy to use.

Fast efficient service not as good as my old cannon printer but ok.

Very pleased with printer no problems.

  • Happy with this printer
  • The only slight criticism is sometimes it has a bit of a funny turn and the printer head/motors start running by themselves
  • I like this printer

Print quality is great and the ease of connection refreshing.

It’s doing what i want it to do without too much hassle. . It arrived with the paper ‘out’ tray detached. Rather than send it back i used a bit of brute force to put it into place. Not good quality control though. Part of the software failed to download, but since i won’t want to use it i’m not that bothered. The website for downloading software didn’t work so i had to use the cd provided. The printer is fiddly to use and very noisy, but, unlike the previous model it produces very good colour prints, which was the point of the purchase. The display at the front is not intuitive and when scanning it doesn’t automatically give you a preview, so annoyingly i had to go through the computer’s ‘devices and printers’ programme. I needed it to have a usb option and that seems to be working well. Much better quality colour prints than my last canon printer, but not a patch on one that i had 15 years ago.

The only slight criticism is sometimes it has a bit of a funny turn and the printer head/motors start running by themselves. Very impressed with this printer. Its fast and does everything as it should. The only slight criticism is sometimes it has a bit of a funny turn and the printer head/motors start running by themselves for a few minutes and its quite a loud machine. Maybe its just doing some internal processes.

I haven’t used it that much yet but tried all functions. It provides good quality photo prints, copy very good and scan is working though i still need to work out where to find the material i scanned on my laptop. Very easy to set up and connected wifi no problem. Good value/buy for a low end budget. I only give it a 4 * as i need more testing on the quality of the photos printing, undecided at the moment which is the best compared to my previous hp printer.

Prints and mechanics are great, but the lack of a proper paper input tray means having to load paper every time or leave it hanging out the front of the machine.

Like other reviewers, the only criticism i have is regarding the collection tray, it is rather flimsy and not not extend enough to ensure your printing does not land on the floor in a heap. Nevertheless i am very pleased with the printer.

    1. Not as good as my previous printer. Not as good as my previous printer, in my opinion. Not as user friendly, for my print page option, but i am a ‘dummy’ so ignore my comments. I wish i had bought a replacement hewlett packard. But when i do get a print, it is exemplary.

Great for colourful holiday pics. Very good quality photo printer. Cartridges a bit on the pricey side but last a long time.

    1. Bought as a replacement for a canon mg5250. I bought the canon mg5750 from amazon as a replacement for my canon mg5250 which had failed after 3. 5 years use – suspected print head issue (disappointing as i had been using genuine canon printer inks). I had done a quick bit of research and had thought that the mg5750 would provide the same functionality as the mg5250: it does – sort ofwhere the mg5750 falls down slightly in my opinion is as follows -1. The paper feed tray extends from the front of the printer and paper is exposed (the mg5250 had a paper feed tray which slid out of side under the printer)2. The output paper tray has to be manually opened before printing (the mg5250 output tray opened automatically when printing started)3. There is no rear paper feed tray (mg5250 had a rear feed tray which i found ideal for stiffer photographic paper which could be loaded ‘face up’)4. Maximum print resolution is 4,800×1,200dpi (mg5250 = 9,600×2,400dpi)5. Maximum scan resolution is 1,200×2,400dpi (mg5250 = 2,400×4,800dpi)if i had done my research more thoroughly before purchasing i may have decided to pay a bit more money for a printer that did have the above features. Having said that, the quality of the printed output appears comparable to the mg5250, at least enough for some of my printed photographs to be selected for ‘certificates’ at my local photographic club.

Bought this printer several months ago and found it hard to get everything set up correctly as some of the instructions were scant and not user friendly. Of course this is not the sellers issues but a cannon one. I contacted the seller about the set up issues and they suggested that i should contact cannon directly, which they helped me with. Eventually after contacting cannon i was advised to uninstall the software and star again and bingo this all worked ok. The printer itself is very good with lots of printing options and an excellent quiet mode setting. Overall i am happy with this purchase although cannon should make things easier.

Nice printer with good value for money. Just a little bit noisy but it’s ok.
