HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Colour Laser Printer : Colour LaserJet CP1215 Laser Printer

I have only had this product a short time and it has not been heavily used, but so far i am pleased with it. As i print infrequently my old ink-jet printer kept clogging. I also didn’t like the curling of plain paper when printing images. This printer prints excellent black & white text, and when printing images on plain paper, is much better than an ink jet. It will not match an ink jet printing photo quality on high quality paper. This will only be an issue if you need photo quality prints – i find the quality is perfectly good for my needs. The paper comes out flat and does not wrinkle like wet ink-jet prints. Colours are a little dark and maybe a bit oversaturated, although playing with settings (easy to do) minimises this to acceptable levels. Duplex printing is simple – but you do need to manually re-feed for the second side – not a problem for me.

Works well on pc, does not work on a mac.

More capable than any colour laser i’ve used. Stunning graphics and crisp text, in fact this is taking over family photo duties from our dedicated photo-printer. Ok the speed of high-quality colour is not the fastest, but for a professional finish this is better than any colour laser i’ve used, and that includes more expensive hp models costing ten times as much.

This is a great printer is a g0ood workhorse. Would be ideal for a small business or home use.

Print quality is really good considering the cost of the printer. Really pleased with the product.

Hp’s colour laser cp1215 most a hit. As far as print quality, both black and colour, you can buy this printer with confidence. Very easy to set up and install, with good interactive guides to confirm clear printed instructions. It’s not too noisy, in fact it’s no noisier than my last mono printer. Text is sharp, colour images surprisingly good, although photographs do tend to be a little dark – easily rectified by hp’s excellent software provided with the printer. I’m not using this laser to print photographs – i use a dye sub for that. My prime need for this printer is mainly as a mono printer, with the option to use colour if i want to. The biggest issue with this colour laser like any other is the outrageous price of the toner refills. So i’ll keep replacing the black toner when i need to, and when the colour cartridges run out, i’ll just replace the printer. At nearly £70 per colour cartridge, and three colour cartridges as well as the black one, you can see why it’s not cost effective to buy replacement cartridges.

Included starter cartridges about half capacity, but still good for 800 prints. Easy set up and quality prints. Not as fast as some later machines but a good office work horse.

Hp colour laserjet cp1215 laser printer. As a review, this might tick a few boxes, but not the ones that you might expect. In the past, i have used inkjet printers. However, i seldom use one to print. As a result, the heads dry and block. I bought this printer to do the occasional job, and wanted a reasonable print in black, and reasonable in colour. However, the instructions don’t tell you that when you first commission the printer that it whirs away for a good 5 mins with the three indicator lights flashing like a merry-go-round. I thought i had done something wrong, i hadn’t. It was simply loading and priming the toners.
