Wonderful results (and using windows 7, 64-bit). I needed a new printer for my small estate agency: a printer that would produce photo-quality results on brochures; a printer that would be fast when producing canvassing materials; a printer that would print both sides; a printer that would be small enough to fit a very small office space and, crucially, a printer that would not cost too much. My research was based on these criteria and led to the cp2025dn. I read a lot of negative reviews but, with brand loyalty based on a bomb-proof hp printer that had been churning out thousands of monotone pages for years, i took the plunge. First of all the installation and the reported issue that the cd won’t work with w7/64-bit. This was also the case for my windows 7 64-bit laptop. However, i called hp’s support and a lady based in bangalore remotely took control of my laptop, did the necessary stuff and got the printer working in about 30 minutes. You will need the product serial number from the back of the printer. The telephone number for hp’s support regarding this is 0845 161 0030 (or, for a normal rate number you can call 01344 360000 and ask to be put through to technical support). Do check that the printer is printing properly and in colour and duplex before you come off the line from support.
I have always been sceptic about laser printers even though deep down i’ve always wanted to actually own one. Laser means professional imho, yet having said that the professional ones at the office have constant paper jams, and print quality average at best (not hp). As a home user i simply could not justify the price tag, and most of all the running costs. To cut a long story short, when i finally decided to take the plunge, and after days of research, i decided to go for the hp cp2025dn, and i could not be happier with this printer. Very good print quality, be it text or colour, and on any type of paper. Photos look great even on normal copy paper. Many would argue that inkjets have this function even on basic models, yet one has to understand that inkjet is a liquid which tends to seep into the page making duplex printing less than desirable. Laser is a powder, so there is no issue, even on very thin paper. Running costs are very low, as very good quality toner alternatives are available (even on amazon) 4. Paper jams are practically non existent if the paper is fanned correctly, and when they do happen it is so easy to fix, due to the thoughtful design of the printer.
A great networked, colour laser printer at a very good price. I had it’s predecessor, which i was very happy with, but unfortunately, it did not work woth windows 7. Hence the upgrade to this printer. It installed easily out of the box. It is very easy to attach computers on the network to it, it prints well and is trouble free. I am very happy indeed with this printer. It supports my whole home network very well. Here are the specifications for the HP Color LaserJet CP2025dn Network Colour Laser Printer:

Have just got this printer a few weeks and it really is a very good printer, my other printers have been colour inkjets. It was effortless to set up in windows 7 and does everything they say it can do, duplex print and colours are very good. It can be slightly noisy when it auto cleans but after a while it’s not so noticeable and the print out times are excellent and with very good quality print.

- thought long & hardabout buying, now delighted I did
I thought hard before i bought this printer after having read a few ‘iffy’ reviews. Normally i buy hp stuff as it is good value and works well, so i was nervous having read the adverse comments. Yes, i had the same problems with the colours out of registration, but after running ‘calibration’ it sorted itself out ok although there is still a very slight misalignment only visible under magnification. The duplex printing is great. I do a lot of booklet printing and the auto duplex is a real boon. You can just set the thing off to print loads of copies with no fear of it feeding two sheets together and cocking up the whole print run. We’ll need to see how it works out on ink cost compared to my trusty deskjet.
This printer is great value for money. Also the people were really helpful. We had a problem with a yellow cartridge that reported a error. I reported this via the amazon email system and within a day i had a response. Within two days we had a replacement. Everything worked fine and 100% happy. I would recommend this company based on the customers support and help.
