HP CP2025 Color Laserjet Printer – A Great Value Purchase for an industrial grade colour printer

I have always been sceptic about laser printers even though deep down i’ve always wanted to actually own one. Laser means professional imho, yet having said that the professional ones at the office have constant paper jams, and print quality average at best (not hp). As a home user i simply could not justify the price tag, and most of all the running costs. The hp cp2025 fits the billpros:1. Very good print quality, be it text or colour, and on any type of paper. Photos look great even on normal copy paper. Running costs are very low, as very good quality toner alternatives are available (even on amazon)3. Paper jams are practically non existent if the paper is fanned correctly, and when they do happen it is so easy to fix, due to the thoughtful design of the printer.

Came well packaged, worked instantly, looks like new. Even can with printer cartridges that i did not expect at all, albeit only one of them was genuine.

I unpacked the printer, connected it, and it was operational within a very short time. Of course, i always believe in glancing through the manual before installation and i am sure that helped. The quality of print on almost any type of paper is excellent. Hopefully the running costs will not be high.

  • EXCELLENT INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
  • Great Laser Printer
  • A Great Value Purchase for an industrial grade colour printer

Excellent initial impressions. The printer arrived well packed and in mint condition despite a large transit (fedex) gash in the side of the box. Once unpacked, it was exceptionally easy to prepare and set up. The driver disk was recognized instantly by my quad-drive imac running snow leopard os and with just a few clicks, it was up and running. Time from idle (sleep mode) to first print was around 10 secs, which was excellent. While relatively noisy on start-up, it wasn’t nearly as bad as my multi-pass konica-minolta 2300w and once it was into print mode, it was fairly unobtrusive. Colours were accurate and bright and initial impressions are excellent. I will update with further use, but everything i have seen so far gives me confidence in recommending it fully. Several months on, the printer continues to give sterling service and while i need to amend the sleep-to-first-print time to around 18 secs, it’s still pretty rapid and very effective. Vibrant colours are possible but best results are found on the better paper (no surprises there) and semi-gloss paper gives outstanding and near photo-quality results.

A great value purchase for an industrial grade colour printer. This was a great purchase for a 2nd hand printer it does well, print quality is excellent it would have 5 stars but it sometimes leaves a blue toner spray on the first printed sheet for the rest, i recommend the supplier.
