Using a pc running windows 8. 1, the install was fine albeit a tad annoying, but it was up and running wirelessly it’s retained a perfect connection. (however trying to set it up on a mac was non-existent, unless you just used usb where it can auto-detect it. ) i’m grateful ricoh supply an install cd, because when i first received this i had jnly just moved in and had no broadband service. I’ll be using this machine mainly for the scanning function rather than printing (it’ll literally print invoices, notes, word documents… nothing particuarly important). The scanning is pretty smooth, giving very clear results. (you can adjust the settings manually or just use the default settings which i’m sure will be fine for anyone in an admin office environment. ) with that said, the b&w print results are clear, and being a laser, the ink is dry almost instantaneous. Greyscale tones are okay, but if you really want to be printing works of art gpo and buy another machine.
This is a fairly impressive printer that comes in an equally impressive box. It’s smart, sleek and has the cube design that would fit into most home offices. It’s also not particularly heavy – or at least not as heavy as you might expect it to be based on its size. It’s easy to get everything started, the instructions are clear and the panel easy to navigate. Simply plugging the usb from the printer to the computer was all that was needed to get the printing started. I honestly wanted to write more about the positive aspects of the printer but it was at this point that i realised that there was one major problem with the printer – setting up the wifi. My main computer is a macbook and wireless printing is something that is all but essential as i use it all around the house rather than just at my desk. The instructions to start printing wirelessly seem quite clear, there’s even a quick guide to help get you started. The first problem i encountered is that i’m using an apple router which the printer didn’t seem to like.

Very good print quality excellent for home use as a basic printer.
Ricoh sp 213suw wireless a4 mono laser 3-in-one. This machine needed building up to function. I found it very difficult to even understand what it said. Ever tried flat pack furniture?. Eventually we got it up and runningonce we had settled down and calmed our nerves we tried it out. This is a 3-in-one scan copy print. It worked extremely well but as it is only black and white only really for printing documents and letters. Probably good for a black and white photo.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Good basic printer
- Wireless is an issue
- Nice printer – wifi set up is a bit challenging but worked out fine eventually.
Without doubt a product essential home ?.
