Samsung ML-2955DW Mono Laser Printer : SAMSUNG LASER PRINTER

It works with my samsung galaxy tab10. 1. I had an hp laserjet that had just died of old age. I have a home wireless network and need a printer to not only work with my 6 core desktop, 4 core laptop, 1 core laptop but also with my new samsung galaxy tab 10. I hesitated in buying this printer after reading the poor review by someone who had problems in installing it. I am now glad i ignored his review. I found the installation very easy and quick. Within an hour from it arriving, it was unpacked, removed all the factory sticky tape, read the installation booklet, started the installation cd it was installed and printing from all networked computers and the tablet. I would have given it 5 stars.

This is a very good printer, especially for it’s price. I have only used laser network duplex printers at work before, and i have to admit that this printer is as good as those expensive ones we have at work. It was also delivered earlier than expected.

Excellent printer & excellent amazon service. Have just bought this printer and had no trouble installing it on my three computers. It came with a contintental plug, but when i told amazon they told me to buy an adapter and they would pay. When i told them the cost it was refunded to me almost immediately and i am very impressed. I have had one problem yet to resolve, i cannot set the printer preferences on my mini netbook as the screen is not big enough to display all the data, but am working on that. Great customer service from amazon as delivery was much quicker than expected ie had ordered it with a two week expected delivery, instead it came within five days of ordering. At the time of ordering amazon was the cheapest seller as total price was just under £90. I was slightly concerned that there would be no uk power adapter but it came with both continental and uk leads so no complaints there. Wireless networking was easily set up on my windows os laptop – took 20 minutes top and oh is very pleased to find that his linux-based desktop can print easily to the printer so all in all, everyone’s happy.

I’m a mac user and i bought this double-sided-capable printer about 2 weeks ago. Can adjust different size of papers when putting papers into the tray. The printing speed is fast enough. (quieter than the old samsung printer i previously owned)4. Wireless networking works wellcons:a bit expensive but worth it.

Easy to set up, worked first time using usb cable. Had to go on web site for operating manual, not easy to follow in the manual. The single print drawer has a catch which also switches it on and clamps the paper ready for printing which is not explained very well in the manual. Ok once you have figured it out. Print is good quality and at a reasonable speed. The toner cartridge supplied with the machine was only about a third full.

Great little printer, worth every penny. Easy to set up wired & wireless. Good quality & has a small footprint. Large tray in bottom for your paper up to size a4. Drop down front loader for single sheets & envelopes. If your looking for a fast compact duplex b&w laser printer for you basic letters etc, this is just for you.

  1. So good i ended up buying three. Works really quickly, quietly and economically. One of mine did become faulty within a couple of weeks, but amazon’s excellent service had it swapped next day. Didn’t stop me from buying two more.

  2. Printing is fine when it works. It keeps falling off the network, and then the computers cant find it. I’ve had to reinstall drivers etc. With a cable to the router it appears to be a bit more behaved.

    1. Setup was straightforward once i put the cable in the correct socket. After configuration it was simple to use with various devices. It is quick to start printing, quick, full duplex, inexpensive, compact and doesn’t look like an eyesore. Who could expect more?some users have experienced issues with wifi reliability. Personally i have found or to be highly reliable – however it gets light use and the wifi network is strong.

    The printer come yestarday,with very fast shipping. The printer wireless set up easy,and fast. Me takes about 15mins,from opening the box. Before i bought this printer,i looking all in one mono laser printer,but hard to found with wireless future,automatic double sided print,with close paper tray(hold about 200pages,so you don’t have to put every time paper when you want start print. The open tray is not god option because a few days and the paper will be dusty. The mobile print easy,after download the app. So if somebody looking:-wireless printer-automatic double side printer-close paper tray-mobil phone print-god quality printi very recommend this pinter.

    1. This is a fast efficient and reliable printer. Simple to set up and simple to use. The only down side is the cost of printer refills. But that is true of them all.

    1. Great printer but useless instruction on how to setup wireless or usb for a mac. Help line less than useless only advice was to send it back. Found a great website that made it easy.

    1. Wifi enabled, works well with mac os x once setup. Sufficiently fast (for its size and purpose)small downside on design: paper tray comes out from behind (eg for a4 size paper), exposing paper to dust if not used frequently or in a dusty place.
