Samsung ML-2955ND Mono Laser Printer – Good Value for money printer

A very good capable printer. This printer is easy to set up, no frills and a straight forward machine to use. It has worked without fault since being plugged in and is quite happy attached to a g4 apple mac running os 10. It has a small footprint and is relatively ok noise wise for short runs and occasional printing. If i was printing more, i would probably want a quieter machine. But otherwise, a good all-round personal printer.

Came quickly was easy to set up and print speed and quality was great. Auto-duplex is a must for me so this printer is ideal and cheap.

Good value for money printer. I wanted a small b&w printer after our colour inkjet failed as we were printing too many b&w sheets on the inkjet (which was costing too much)it came down to this printer or the brother equivalent. Overall i am happy with it so far (done 200 sides). The included toner (which i always knew was a ‘get you going’ toner) seems to be on par to achieve just shy of the 1000 prints it is supposed to achieve, and unlike some reports – mine came with a uk plug. It is fast (enough) and very quiet, has duplex printing and although some complain that with a4 paper in, the paper tray pokes out the back, it does not petrude any further than the mains plug or the required gap needed for cooling anyway. The mains lead is incrediably short. I have having to use an extension lead when it is sat next to the pc which does not need one. The configuration setup indicates that the unit should sleep after 30sec and shutdown after 120mins.

Great little printer for home. Great printer – good quality. I bought this because my inkjet kodak was using too much ink. This installed on to my windows 7 pc with no issues and is an excellent printer.

Bought instead of a new imaging unit for my existing multifunction unit also a samsung. Four stars as i’m still annoyed that consumables still cost so much.
