Samsung SL-M2026 A4 Mono Laser Printer : If you just want a bit of monochrome printing – this leaves nothing wanting

Would highly recommend this printer. What a great little printer. I’m so pleased i bought this one. It’s fast, easy to use, easy to install, excellent quality printing from the first print and so light and compact. I would definitely recommend this product.

The toner is not too expensive to replace.

Works every time on my hp computer unlike the hp printer i had before. Here are the specifications for the Samsung SL-M2026 A4 Mono Laser Printer:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • Print with minimal noise levels
  • Work faster with One Touch Screen Print
  • Enjoy a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface
  • Print in less than 8.5 seconds with Ready Mode
  • Warranty – 12 months

i can’t fault this printer. I bought it half a year ago because i was tired of writing postage labels by hand but didn’t really need an expensive colour printer and this fit my needs perfectly. It took me less than 100 seconds to set up out of the box and i was printing immediately and haven’t had a single problem with it yet. You should buy this if you want:* compact space* wireless ability* reliably & consistently fast printingpossible drawbacks:* printed paper can sometimes feed back into the paper tray which results in the occasional double print. * paper tray has a low capacity- around a hundred sheets at most. * wireless connectivity can impact time to start printing and printing speed. Other things to note:* this does have usb connectivity but has a usb male b port and doesn’t come with a cable. This means you need a usb 2. 0 a male to b male cable which you can get on here.

Quality – nice and crisp lines. Price – phenomenally cheap for what you get. Just how often do you really need to print in colour anyway?. But there’s an app for that.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • cannot be beaten at this price
  • They say paper is obsolete, then why do we still buy printers?
  • Small & Reliable

I bought this printer for printing printed circuit board designs onto film, i haven’t given it a full test yet but so far so good. The drivers take for ages to load onto my pc, but other than that okay.

Great little printer for the cash.

The printer is in good condition, packaging is intact, packed properly as well. It would be very helpful for the consumers though if it came with a cable already since it is not a wireless printer. I am satisfied with the printed output as well.

Can overheat if paper jams, but wait a few minutes and all is well.

If you just want a bit of monochrome printing – this leaves nothing wanting. Monochrome laser printing really is the ideal choice for people that infrequently print and mostly need it for reference when travelling, tickets, or for the very occasional letter, as ink still has problems with drying out, despite best efforts, and you don’t really need colour for those purposes. The printer is basic but reliable and just works. Nice and quick, and quite small indeed. Utterly perfect for what i needed. Usual caveats at this price point – you get a starter toner cartridge, and no usb-a/usb-b cable that is required for the wired version only. These should not stop your purchase.

Works fine, but is a little noisier than my previous samsung printer.

Some urgent paperwork and this seemed to be the best for quality output at a low price and quick. Very basic printer – needed a b/w one for some urgent paperwork and this seemed to be the best for quality output at a low price and quick availability. I use un*x rather than windows/mac – the uld_v1. Gz available from samsung’s site worked well – but be aware you need to be root to run the install. Sh installer in the unpacked directory. Integrates seamlessly with the cups system. Luckily i had a usb b cable to hand – there is not a data cable provided – of course; this cheaper model does not have wireless connectivity. You need to download the full manual – the quick install instruction sheet does nstot cover the status lights. The sliding guide for the different paper widths seems flimsy – care needed in moving it for different paper sizes. Print output (as far as i can tell after a few pages) is crisp and adequate for b/w text printing – the test sheet suggests that grey scale printing may disappoint. But – it works, it works with un*x, did the job and doesn’t occupy much desk space.

Doesn’t come with a cable to actually print from your computer.
